Dr. Omana Varghese Nainan (63), w/o Dr.K.C.Nainan (Thiruvinal
Kizhakke Thayyil, Thumpamon) had passed away in Atlanta today at
11.30am.
The wake is arranged on September 5 Monday from 5pm to 9pm at
the Lee Funeral Home, Atlanta. The funeral service will begin in
St. Thomas Orthodox Church Atlanta at 3pm by the Metropolitan of
the American Diocese H. G. Mathews Mar Barnabas. Thereafter the
funeral will be conducted at the Floral Hill cemetery, (
Lawrenceville Highway, Decatur Georgia )
Dr.Omana is survived by
her husband Dr.K.C.Nainan and children Charley & Meena. She
hails from Omaloor Pulimootil family.
Dr. Omana was working as one of the pricipal scientists in the
Division of Viral and Rickettsial Diseases, Hepatitis Branch at
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta.
