Prof. E J John Appointed Coordinator Of
Minority Education Panel

2005: Prof. E J John, former principal of Baselios College,
Kottayam and Dy. Secretary of Malankara Orthodox Church , has
been appointed as the state honorary coordinator of the
newly-formed National Commission for Minority Educational
Institutions. John also served as the P.R.O. of the of Malankara
Orthodox Church for more than a decade.
His appointment is in
recognition of his work and writings for the protection of
education rights of the minority.
Justice M.S.A. Siddique is the chairman of the commission. B.S.
Ramuwalia and Rev. Dr. Valsan Thampu are members and R.
Ranganath is the secretary of the commission.
Prof.John hails from an aristrocratic family of central
Travancore, Elanjikkal at Niranam.
