Dr. Yuhanon Mar Meletius – Chief celebrant for Holy Week at St. Gregorios, Ontario

CANADA: The St. Gregorios Indian Orthodox Church of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada will be holding a series of special services for Holy Week, March 24 through March 31, 2013.

Dr. Yuhanon Mar Meletius, Metropolitan of the diocese of Trichur, will be the chief celebrant for all the services — including Palm Sunday, the special “Vade Dalmino” ceremony (a first in the N. American diocese), Passover Qurbana, the feet washing ceremony, Good Friday, Holy Saturday Qurbana and Easter, informed Reena Rutherford, Secretary of St. Gregorios Indian Orthodox Church.

Cor Episcopos Lazarus Ramban is the vicar of the parish and Matt Mathews is the Trustee.
