Fr. Michael Zacahariah receives doctorate in Botany

THIRUCHIRAPPALLY, Tamil Nadu: Fr. Michael Zacahariah had received PhD in Botany from Dr. K. Rosaiah (Chancellor) Governor of Tamil Nadu.

Dr. Mrs. K. Meena Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Bharathidasan University and P Palaniappan (Pro VC) Minister for Higher Education Tamil Nadu were also present on the occasion.

In his study, Fr. Michael Zacahariah, under the eminent guidance of renowned scientist Prof. N.Jayabalan, gave emphasis on differentially expressing proteins of tissue cultured plants.

Fr Dr Michael Zacharaih is a member of Mount Tabor Dayara, Pathanapuram and the Vicar of Thiruvarambor St Mary’s and Tuticorin St Gregorios Orthodox parishes.
