ABU DHABI: Marthoma Smruthi 2013”, the flagship program by the Orthodox Christian Youth Movement of St George Orthodox Cathedral Abu Dhabi, in the Blessed Memory of St. Thomas the Apostle, was inaugurated by the U.K, Europe & Africa Diocesan Metropolitan Dr. Mathews Mar Thimothios by lighting the lamp on the March 1, 2013 after Holy Qurbana.

Diocesan Metropolitan Yakob Mar Elias presided over the function. Cathedral Trustee, Acting Secretary, OCYM office bearers and other members of the Cathedral attended the inaugural ceremony.

“Marthoma Smruthi 2013” program includes love feast and other charitable programs for our brothers and sisters in the destitute homes and orphanages managed by the Holy Church. In house competitions to enrich the talents, series of spiritual and social study sessions for the individual development of faithful are aimed.
