BENGALURU: The Students Ministry under Bengaluru Diocese received a major boost with the successful hosting of a one-day conference titled the Pravaasi Students Conference called ‘Manna 2013′ on January 26, Saturday, at St George College at Banasawadi, OMBR Layout, in Bengaluru.

Fr Cyril Varghese Vadakadathu inaugurated the conference by lighting the traditional lamp and read out the message from the Diocese Metropolitan Mar Seraphim. Dr Fred Felix, Principal of St George College, wished the conference deliberations all success.

Members of the Senior Friends Group in Students Ministry, Paul Arieckal, Johny K Joseph and Raju Philip, led classes at the conference.
Student Dairy 2013 was released by Fr Cyril along with the Chairman of St George College, Shiju John.

Teeja John, delivered the valedictory note, on behalf of all the particpating students. The conference concluded with an evening prayer and benediction. Over 350 students from various colleges attended the conference.

Members of the Senior Friends Group namely Reni Philip, Sathyan Parakadavil, K C Varghese, Zaak, Kuruvila Varghese, K C Raju, were lauded for their role in conducting the conference successfully.
