Dubai St. Thomas Cathedral will handover keys of homes built as part of “Veedu” program on Nov.29

DUBAI: Dubai St. Thomas Orthodox Cathedral charity projects costing over Rs.2.5 crores will hold an official function on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Orthodox Church Centre, Ulloor, Thiruvananthapuram to mark the catholicate centenary year.

At the event keys to homes built as part of “Veedu” program for deserving candidates from various districts of Kerala and to a mobile medical care unit for Palavila Rural Health care Centre will be handed over. Funds will likewise be disbursed for the treatment of those who are critically ill with neuro spinal issues.

The event will be inaugurated by H.H. Baselious Mar Thoma Paulose II, Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan with the speaker of Legislative Assembly of Kerala, G. Karthikeyan as the chief guest.

The function will also be attended by church luminaries, social and cultural dignitaries.
