Ahmedabad Diocese exceeds target for 2011 Catholicate Day Collection

AHMEDABAD: Ahmedabad Diocese Metropolitan Pulikkottil Dr Geevarghese Mar Yulios has appreciated all the vicars and parishioners for their sincere contribution towards exceeding the target for the Catholicate Day Collection (CDC ) 2011.

The Metropolitan was addressing the Catholicate Day Collection Meeting held immediately after the General Assembly held under his presidentship at Naroda Campus, the Diocesan HQ, on August 2, 2012 at 2 pm.

Dr Mar Yulios while appreciating the role of vicars and parishioners for their sincere contributions also gave away mementos for achieving excellent CDC results.

Fr James Geevarghese, Aramana Manager and Assistant Vicar St Mary’s Cathedral, Ahmedabad, welcomed all the vicars, trustees, secretaries of all parishes of the diocese, to the meeting. Fr James also received a memento from Dr Mar Yulios.

Fr Jacob Mathew, Diocesan Secretary, read out the Kalpana of HH the Catholicos, regarding Catholicate Day Collection for 2012. After His Grace received the Catholicate Day collections from various parishes, the meeting ended with a prayer and benediction.
