OVBS – 2012 Inaugurated in Kuwait

KUWAIT: The Orthodox Vacation Bible School (O.V.B.S) of St. Gregorios Indian Orthodox Maha Edavaka, was inaugurated on Thursday, August 2 in a public meeting at National Evangelical Church.

Vicar Fr. Jose Mathew inaugurated the OVBS 2012 by lighting the lamp. He exhorted the students on the importance of being one in Christ.

OVBS Director Fr. George C. Varughese declared the theme of the year as “We are all one in Christ – Galatians 3:28”. The song session was inaugurated by Jessy Jaison. Susan Eapen, OVBS Superintendent welcomed the gathering.

About 730 students and their parents attended the inaugural function. The meeting was also attended by Reji Oommen (Parish Trustee), Sandeep Pulickal (Parish Secretary), K.V. George, Senior Teacher – Sunday School, Samuel Chacko (Dy. Supdt.), Sabha Managing Committee Members – Sabu T. George, Jaison P. Varghese and Shaji Abraham.
