Bengaluru Diocese MGOCSM 2nd edition talent hunt on July 22

BENGALURU: The stage is set for Jeunesse. The second edition of talent hunt for the youths of Bengaluru Diocese titled “Jeunesse” (French word meaning ‘Youth’) is all set to be held on July 22, Sunday, at the St Gregorios Cathedral, Hosur Road.

Dr Abraham Mar Seraphim, Bengaluru Diocese Metropolitan, will inaugurate the talent hunt at the Cathedral.

A special feature of this year will be the participation of members of St Gregorios Church, Mysore in addition to churches from Bengaluru.

Youngsters belonging to the MGOCSM and OCYM having exceptional talents will showcase their abilities on a common platform. The talents scan is especially for those with abilities to dance, paint, quiz, those good at team work and there will be lots of fun-filled activities.

Dr Mar Seraphim will lead the Holy Eucharist which has to be attended by all the participants. The event will commence at 11 am. The competition events are almost same as last year except few changes.

This year’s event includes solo singing (male/female), JAM, cookery, skit, Infamous Twins, Poetry Writing, Dumb charades and 20 Questions.
The annual Quiz Competition for Mrs Kunjamma Daniel Ever Rolling Trophy will also be up for grabs.

The valedictory ceremony will see Rev Dr Cherian Thomas, ECC (Ecumenical Christian Centre), Director, as the guest of honour which will be presided over by Dr Mar Seraphim.
