ABU DHABI: The newly-formed Brahmawar Diocese of Malankara Orthodox community will soon have its own new Diocesan head quarter in Mangalore City.
On March 2, 2012, HG Yakoob Mar Elias, Diocesan Metropolitan, handed over the promissory notes at a simple function held at the Abu Dhabi Cathedral to all who offered loans for the project and congratulated those who participated in this God-given opportunity for the development of the newly formed diocese of the Holy Church.
The Diocesan Council has finally located a small plot in Mangalore city. Members of St George Orthodox Cathedral, Abu Dhabi (which forms part of Brahmawar Diocese) actively participated through offerings and also through interest free-long term loans.
