Dr Mar Seraphim Leads Mar Baselios Movement’s Holy Lent convention, Retreat In Kuwait

Kuwait: HG Dr Abraham Mar Seraphim, Metropolitan of Bengaluru Diocese, will lead the Holy Lent Convention and Retreat at the St George Chapel-Abbassiya and NECK-City in Safat, Kuwait from March 12 to 15.

Mar Baselios Movement (MBM), Kuwait is organising the four-day convention and retreat during the Great Lent.

On March 13, the Mid Lent, Dr Mar Seraphim will lead the Holy Eucharist and convention from 5.30 to 9.30 pm at National Evangelical Church in Kuwait (NECK).

On all other days, the conventions will be held at the St George Chapel from 6.30 to 9.30 pm. Giji John, Convener and Jerry John Koshy, Secretary of the Mar Baselios Movement have requested the prayerful presence with family and co-operation of the members on the convention days.

Mar Baselios Movement Kuwait is a spiritual and charitable Organisation under St Gregorios Indian Orthodox Church, Kuwait.

MBM was started in early 70s in the name of HH Moran Mar Baselios Geevarghese II (Third Catholicose) with objectives of worship, study, and service.

Dr Mar Seraphim will also lead the Annual Conference of the Martha Mariam Samajam on March 16, Friday, at the St George Chappel, Abbassiya.
