Altar Assistants’ Training Camp at St. Gregorios, Cherry Lane

NEW YORK: An Altar Assistant Training Camp was organized by the Northeast American Diocese in the Brooklyn/Long Island/Queens Area at Cherry Lane St. Gregorios Orthodox Church.

Philemon Abraham was the the program director for the event. Priests, Deacons and Seminarians from the Diocese led workshops focused on preparing altar assistants for the Holy Week.

A photo of the late Catholicos, His Holiness Baselios Mar Thoma Mathews II was presented to the participants by Fr. Gregory Varghese, the Assistant Vicar of St. Gregorios, Cherry Lane at the concluding session.
