Dr Mar Yulios urges students to uphold basic values

BARODA : The 20th Annual Day of St Basil School, Baroda was inaugurated by Vinod Rao, District Collector and Magistrate of Baroda.

Earlier, the function began with the lighting of the tradional lamp by Pulikkottil Dr Geevarghese Mar Yulios, Metropolitan of Ahmedabad Diocese. In his speech, the Metropolitan, called upon the students to uphold basic values in life.

The function was held under the presidency of School Manager, Dr Mar Yulios, and Principal of the School, Fr P O Mathai, honorary managing committee, staff, parents and students turned for the grand function which numbered over 4,000.

The school has strength of 1,500 students and is still growing at a faster pace.

The school is one of the best school is Baroda and was selected for various National Science Projects.
