SAGAR (MP): Dr. Joseph Mar Dionysius, Metropolitan of Calcutta Diocese, inaugurated the newly built school building on 28 January 2012 at Sager (MP).

The inaugural function was presided over by Dr. Mar Dionysius Metropolitan. Er. Pradeep Lariya (M.L.A) was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Fr. Robin Devassy, Vicar General of R.C. Church Sagar Diocese, Fr. Thomas Attumel, Manager of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Sagar, Fr. Paul Mathew, Puthupadi Ashram Kerala and Louis P.R., the President of Malayali Samajam spoke on the occasion.

The inaugural ceremony was followed by evening Prayer and consecration of the cross.

On 29 Jan. 2012 Morning Prayer was followed by Holy Qurbana. Metropolitan Mar Dionysius was the chief celebrant on the occasion. Fr. Aju K. Varghese, Fr. Paul Mathew and Vicar Mathew M. Mathew were among them to assist the Metropolitan.

Revin Kurian was elevated to the rank of Altar boy Metropolitan honored Fr. Paul Mathew and M.A. Kuruvilla with “Ponnada”.

Parish Treasurer John Jacob welcomed the gathering and School Board Secretary Biju C. Thomas proposed vote of thanks

A warm welcome was accorded to the Metropolitan by Vicar Fr. Mathew M. Mathew and the parishioners Fr. Aju K. Varghese accompanied the Metropolitan.
