Dr Mar Aprem, chief celebrant at Muscat Maha Edavaka Harvest, Parish day celebrations

MUSCAT : Dr Zachariah Mar Aprem, Metropolitan of Adoor-Kadampanaadu Diocese and Assistant to the Malankara Metropolitan, arrived in Muscat on October 27 for a 17-day visit to Sultanate of Oman.

Dr Mar Aprem will be the chief guest at Muscat Mar Gregorios Orthodox Maha Edavaka’s Harvest, Parish day celebrations on November 4 at St Thomas Church, Ruwi.

The Metropolitan will be the chief celebrant at the holy Trimass on November 4, Friday.

The programme schedule:
Oct 27: 09.30 am: Arrival at Seeb International Airport
Oct 28: Holy Eucharist
7 pm: Evening prayers
7.30 pm: Vajana Shishrusha by Fr Dr Jacob John Kallada
Oct 29: Vajana Shishrusha
Oct 30: Holy Eucharist at Chapel
Oct 31, Nov 1, 2: In Muscat
Nov 3: Rasa, Vajana Shishrusha
Nov 4, 9.30 am: Chief celebrant at Holy Trimass
12.30 pm: Chief guest & inauguration of Parish Day celebrations
12.45-5 pm: Fete & sale, variety entertainment, auction of first fruit offerings
Nov 5: Leads Family Conference at Sohar St St George Orthodox Church
Nov 6: Holy Eucharist & Dukhrono of Late Lamented Dr Stephanos Mar Theodosius
Nov 7-11: Visits St Stephens Orthodox Church, Salalah
Nov 12: Departure for Kerala
