Mar Athanasius will lead the feast of St. Gregorios at Bensalem

PHILADELPHIA: The annual memorial feast of St. Gregorios of Parumala will be celebrated from November 4 to 6 at St. Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Church, Bensalem.

Thomas Mar Athanasius, Metropolitan of Chenganur Diocese will be the chief celebrant for the Perunal celebrations.

On Friday, Nov. 4 at 6.30pm there will Evening Prayer followed by Holy Qurbana and intercessory prayer.

On Saturday, Nov. 5 at 6.30pm the program will begin with Evening Prayer. At 7.30pm Mar Athanasius will deliver Devotional message. At 8 PM Rassa will be conducted.

On Sunday, Nov. 6, 8.30am Perunal celebrations will begin with Morning Prayer. Metropolitan Thomas Mar Athanasius will be the chief celebrant for Holy Qurbana. At 12 noon the ceremonial procession (Rassa) will be held.

St. Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Church is located at 4136 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem,PA – 19020.

Fr. V.M.Shibu is the vicar of the parish. Raju M. Varghese and Thomas Paul are working as the coordinators for the Perunal.
