‘Makodia Mission’ distributes sewing machines

ITARSI: Makodia Mission team visited the villages of Makodia under the leadership of Dr. Joseph Mar Dionysius, Metropolitan of Calcutta Diocese on October 10 to 11 and distributed sewing machines to more than 30 trained women of Kunnur village.

People of Kunnur village received the Metropolitan with their own traditional music and dance. They also performed native cultural programs honoring the Metropolitan.

Mar Dionysius, in his two day visit, opened a new Poultry Farm to the villagers. More than 100 families of the village will be benefited by this project.

Makodia Mission Manager Fr. Abraham.P.J, Fr. Aju Varghese and Fr. Kurian John were also with the Metropolitan, visiting the villages.
