NEW JERSEY: St. Mary’s Orthodox Church Linden was consecrated by the Diocesan Metropolitan of Northeast America, Zachariah Mar Nicholovos on Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20, 2011.

Part I of the service was over by Friday and the Part II of the consecration was completed on Saturday. Thereafter a small public function was held, felicitating Metropolitan Zachariah Mar Nicholovos on his Birthday.

” Under the leadership of Fr. Sunny Joseph and his exceptional fund raising abilities coupled with the hard work of Secretary Rajumon P. Thomas and Treasurer James Ninan along with an ever supporting and prayerful congregation, our long cherishing dream has now come true by the Grace of God” said one of the parishioners.

“The parishioners of Linden are for ever grateful for all the support, prayers and monitory contributions received from everyone in making this happen” said the vicar in his welcome speech.

Many faithful and priests from neighboring parishes including NY, NJ and PA attended the consecration ceremony.
