MUSCAT: The activities of the Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (MGOCYM), Muscat for 2011-2012 were formally inaugurated after the Holy Qurbana on April 29, 2011 by Yuhanon Mar Polycarpos, Metropolitan of Angamali Diocese and President of Orthodox Christian Youth Movement at St Thomas Church, Ruwi.
In his inaugural speech, the Metropolitan reiterated that the youth are the backbone of the church. However, they can work fruitfully only if they work in co-ordination with others.
