MUSCAT: Moran Mar Baselious Marthoma Paulose II, Catholicose and Malankara Metropolitan and Pulikkottil Dr Geevarghese Mar Yulios, Metropolitan of Ahmedabad Diocese, flew to the coastal city of Salalah (1,200 kms south of Muscat) today.
The Catholicose will be felicitated by St Stephens Orthodox Church, Salalah in the evening followed by the Holy Eucharist.
Dignitaries accompanying the Supreme Head include Fr James Geevarghese, Vicar, MGOC, Fr Dr Johns Abraham Konattu (Priest-Trustee, MOSC), M G George Muthoot (Lay Trustee, MOSC), Dr George Joseph (Malankara Association Secretary) and Deacon Jis Johnson, Secretary to His Holiness.

06.45 pm: Arrival at Salalah International Airport
07.00 pm: Welcome from Christian Centre (Varavelpu)
07.30 pm: Evening Prayers followed by Holy Qurbana
10.00 pm: Public meeting and reception for HH Catholicos and Ahmedabad Diocesan Metropolitan
11.00 pm: Dinner
The Catholicose returns to Muscat on Sunday morning (March 20) at 7.15 am and will leaves for Kochi at 11.25 am by by Jet Airways.
