St. Mary’s White Plains Observes Nineveh Fasting

NEW YORK: St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, White Plains, New York is observing Nineveh fasting for three days with extreme devotion and reverence. February 14, 15, 16 will mark the three days of fasting. Evening prayers at 6.30 pm and meditative sermons thereafter are arranged for the faithful.

On Monday, February 14, evening prayer will begin at 6.30 pm and Fr. Philip Skariah Vallikkolil will deliver sermon. On Tuesday, February 15, Fr. Dr. Varhgese Daniel will be the main speaker. On Wednesday, February 16, Dn. Sujith Thomas will be the main speaker. Holy Qurbana will follow the meditation.

Fr. Paulose T. Peter, vicar of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, White Plains, exhorted all the parishioners and faithful from all around to attend the events and garner blessings.
