MUSCAT: Youth members of the Mar Gregorios Orthodox Church (MGOC) Muscat presented an excellent drama titled Vishwasatindhe Beli for its Christmas Eve programme.

The play revolves around God commanding Abraham to offer Isaac as a sacrifice on a mountain in the land of Moriah.

The story, script and direction by Koshy Varghese Sasthamkotta went well with the packed gathering.

Pradeep Mavelikara as Abraham and Anita Nilambur as Sara essayed their roles with finesse. Audience reserved the biggest applause for the play after it was staged.

Child Isaac was played by young lad Levi Mylapra. Co-artistes Shiju Kadavil, Joji Erukone and messenger role by Abhilash Kottayam backed up well.

Make-up was by Joemon and Ulhas. Rejin Mavelikara did the stage props while sound and lights by Ani Mylapra and Joji Pathanapuram were good.

The drama was produced by Muscat Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christiya Yuvajana Prasthanam.
