
PHILADELPHIA: The ecumenical Christmas celebrations of Philadelphia will take place at George Washington High School Auditorium on December 26, 2010 from 4.00 to 8.00 pm.
Catholic Arch Bishop of Philadelphia Cardinal Justin Rigali will deliver the Christmas message, informed Fr. John Meleppuram, Chairman, Ecumenical Fellowship of Philadelphia.
Colorful welcome procession, public meeting, carol singing, and various presentations related to Christmas from member Churches are to add flavor to the evening’s events.
19 parishes from Orthodox, Jacobite, Catholic, Marthoma and CSI Churches are participating in the Philadelphia Ecumenical Fellowship.
Fr. John Meleppuram (Chairman 215.808.4052), Rev. Joseph Thomas (Co-Chairman), Thomas Abraham (Secretary 267.235.8650), Jerin Jubi (Treasurer), and Chor-Episcopos K. Mathai (Religious Activities) are the office bearers of Ecumenical Fellowship.
