KOTTAYAM: “Power to reason between good and evil is the message that religions give to humans”, said Metropolitan Pulikkottil Dr. Geevarghese Mar Yulios of Ahmadabad Diocese.
The Metropolitan was inaugurating the ‘switched on’ meeting of a television serial ‘Parishudha Parumala Thirumeni’ (St. Gregorios of Parumala) that inculcates the biography and life message of St. Gregorios of Parumala.
“May this mega serial, which is getting ready on a saintly person, who had been a high priest of Christian Church and a philanthropic person through his life and actions and lives in human hearts long after his death, generate the power of discerning between good and evil in the minds of spectators”, carried on the Metropolitan.
The Metropolitan reminded all persons involved in the production of this television serial to have a feeling from within that ‘they were playing with fire’. However, a true visualization of facts would fetch a great outcome benevolent for all.
Mariam Mamman Mathew, Chief Operating Officer of Manorama Online, switched the production on.
Jose K. Mani, Member of Indian Parliament, presided over the meeting. Chor Episcopos Kuriakose Kizhakkedathu, Fr. John Thomas Karingattil, Fr. Yuhanon John, K.R. Aravindakshan, Dr. P.S. Radhakrishnan, and Adv. Alex George moved felicitations.
There is a research team working to make the screen play true to the reality, which includes Fr. John Thomas Kringattil, Fr. Saji Amayil and Fr. Jomon John.
