Koshy P. Vaidyan Receives Ph. D. in Engineering

TRIVANDRUM: Koshy P. Vaidyan has been conferred with a Doctorate in Electronics Engineering from the University of Kerala for his research on “Application of Non-linear System Identification using neuro-fuzzy techniques in Protein Structure Prediction”.

Dr. Koshy P. Vaidyan is working with Tata Consultancy Services for the last 12 years. Currently he is in charge of the technical training, ‘Initial Learning Program’ at TCS. He has also worked with various projects in TCS, at Delhi, US and Kochi before coming to ILP.

Dr. Vaidyan completed B.Tech in Electronics and Communication and M.Tech in Neuro Fuzzy Sytesms from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum. His research interests are in the areas of soft computing and bioinformatics.

Preethi Koshy is his wife. Son of late Prof. Philipose Vaidyan and Prof. Santha Leah Paul, both retired Professors of the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, Dr. Koshy Vaidyan hails from the Thevellakkara Vaidyan family.
