KOTTAYAM: Newly consecrated Metropolitan of the Malankara Church, Pulikkottil Dr. Geevarghese Mar Julius graciously assumed the position ‘Patron of Indian Orthodox Herald’.
For a long time, Metropolitan Mar Julius (Fr. Dr. George Pulikkottil) was one of the Trustee Board Members of Indian Orthodox Herald.
The Metropolitans has published many articles on theological and current issues in Indian Orthodox Herald.
Mar Julius hails from a letter loving family, namely, Pulikkottil from Kunnamkulam. His predecessor bishops, especially Pulikkottil Dionysius II has worked hard to publish the Holy Bible in Malayalam. Mar Dionysius II was also instrumental in the establishment of various print media.
IOH family welcomes the new patron and wishes him all the best in his service to the Lord’s flock.

I Know Kochu Thirumeni Preaching Gospel On the streets of Kunnamkulam Angadi,When he was studying at Class VIII Carrying Bible in his hand. Like Parumala thirumeni he is Segregated at birth for Gods Work. Thirumeni and his late father Uphold Orthodox faith although all his Maternal relations are strong ardent members & Leaders of Jacobite Church. He is a promising shepherd for the Malankara Othodox Church. His speech at Puthupallay & pampady was excellent & Unparalleled during the Kolenchery Church agitation.

May the “Almighty” lead H.G. Pulikkottil Geevarghese Mar Juliuous to become great and renowned like his predecessor Pulikkottil Dionysius II of the Malankara Indian Orthodox Church.
