Dn. Jacob Kurian Ordained as Deacon

HOUSTON: Dn. Jacob (Jake) Kurian was ordained to the Holy Order of Deacon (M’shamshono) on Saturday, April 10, 2010 by Diocesan Metropolitan, Alexios Mar Eusebius.
The ordination service took place at St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Stafford, Texas. Several priests, deacons, and seminarians from both the South-West and Northeast Dioceses. attended the ceremony
Dn. Jacob is a final year seminarian at St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania and is anticipating graduation in May of 2010.
Dn. Jacob is the only son of Kurian Varkey and Mary. Shine is his wife.
