OKLAHOMA: St. Thomas Orthodox Church of Oklahoma celebrated annual feast of St. Thomas, the Patron Saint of the parish on New Sunday. The newly built Silver Jubilee Hall was also dedicated. Metropolitan of the Diocese of South West America Alexios Mar Eusebius was the chief celebrant. After the Holy Qurbana the Metropolitan’s greeting plaque was released and was distributed to all the members.

There was a procession from the Church to the newly built Silver Jubilee Hall and the Metropolitan led the blessing and dedication services.

The Metropolitan congratulated the Vicar and all the members of the parish for the successful completion of the hall despite the smaller size of the parish community.

Sunny Pulipara, the President of Quality Construction and the building contractor, was given a gift and plaque by the parish as a token of appreciation for his dedicated service. Tom Zachariah, the Building Committee Convener, was also recognized and was awarded a plaque for the leadership provided throughout the project. Fr. Cherian Kunnel, the Vicar, extended vote of thanks to everyone.

The weekend events commenced with Evening Prayer and a Devotional Message by the Metropolitan on Saturday, April 10th.
