KOCHI: The Supreme Head of Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church Aram I stated that India has always been the exemplary model for religious harmony. The Armenian Catholicos was talking to the press reporters at the Nedumbassery International Airport, when he was welcomed at his arrival from Lebanon.

Apart from the Armenian Catholicos Aram I, the Armenian Apostolic Delegation includes Archbishop Sebouh Sarkissian, Prelate of Tehran, Bishop Nareg Alezmezian, Eccumenical officer, Fr. Mesrob Sarkissian, Secretary to the Catholicose.
From Kochi the Armenian Delegation set out to Devalokam with State Guest Honors and the Armenian Catholicos met with the Catholicos and Malankara Metropolitan Baselios Marthoma Didymos I. The Armenian Catholicos handed over pleasantries from the See of Cilicia to his Indian counterpart.
There was a banquet arranged at the Catholicate Palace in honor of the visiting Catholicos. Dignitaries from other sister Churches and Government Officials attended the banquet.
