NEW YORK: Prof. E. George Mathew, son of late Edathumpadickal P. Mathew, Pallam, Kottayam, died in Pomona of Rockland County New York. He was 64.
He is survived by his mother Aleyamma, Thomas Mathew (brother living in Delaware), Dr. Jacob Mathew (brother living in England), Sosamma Kuruvilla (sister living in Colarado).
He was a member of St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Yonkers in New York.
The wake will begin on Saturday October 10, 2009 at 9am followed by funeral service at St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Yonkers. Diocesan Metropolitans Mathews Mar Barnabas and Zachariah Mar Nicholovos will lead the funeral ceremony at Yonkers church. The wake will begin at on Saturday October 10, 2009 at 9am
