ICON, a network of the largest discussion forum of Indian Orthodox Church members, has done several charitable projects during the past several years. The first one was done about eight years ago, in 2001. Around Rs. 200,000.00 was gifted to a poor girl from Manarcadu, who was deaf and mute, but passed Technical Higher Secondary examination with first rank and that function was inaugurated by Metropolitan Mar Ivanios in a small function held at Kottayam Diocesan office.
