KOTTAYAM: Against terrorism and social evil, Orthodox Christian Youth Movement will blow Sneha Sahodarya Jwala through out Kerala on Aug 15, the independence day.

The central level inauguration of this event will be held at Kottarakara Pulamon Junction on Aug 15 at 5pm. OCYM President   Mar Polycarpos Yoohanon will preside over the function.  Hon’ble minister  of Kerala Mons Joseph will inaugurate the function. MP Kodikunnil Suresh  will deliver the main speech and MLA  Aysha Potti will give the independence day message.  Sabha secretary Dr. George Joseph will blow the Sneha Sahodarya Jwala and  will be passed to the candles of all participants  irrespective of cast or creed. Thereafter OCYM at large  will take  pledge against terrorism and  all kinds of social evil.

OCYM central and diocesan leaders Fr. Koshy John, Fr.Sajeev Varghese,  Fr. Abraham Varghese, Fr.Jose M Daniel, Oommen John, Adv.Saji George,Benil Mathew  and Anil  will speak on the occasion. Around  1000 youths from Kollam and Trivandrum dioceses are expected to participate- informed General Secretary of OCYM Fr.Spencer Koshy in a press release.
