UNITED KINGDOM:  Dr. Mathews Mar Themothios, Metropolitan of the U.K., Europe & Africa Diocese, appointed Fr. Mathew Abraham as the Vicar of St. Mary’s Indian Orthodox Church, Coventry.  Holy Qurbana will be conducted every month on the 3rd Saturdays.

“The Faithful from Coventry in West midlands and nearby areas used to hold prayer meetings here, regularly.  Being, mostly young families, we at all times dreamed our Children to attend church services. To a greater extend this will create an opportunity to our younger generation to inherit the traditions and faith of Indian (Malankara) Orthodox Church” one of the congregant responded.

The first Holy Qurbana of St. Mary’s Indian Orthodox Church, Coventry Congregation will be celebrated on August 15th 2009 at – St. Barnabas Church, 38-72 Cromwell Street, off. Foleshill Road, Coventry – CV6 5EZ
